People are often most persuaded when they hear from others in their community.  So consider writing an opinion piece or Letter to the Editor to your local paper expressing the benefits a Nebraska Green Amendment. Let your community members know what a Green Amendment is, how it can help your community and environment and/or why you think it is an important tool for protecting the environment.

If you have a favorite local media outlet, simply look for the instructions about how to write and submit your letter to the editor.  Note that often the word limit is pretty tight for a letter to the editor, sometimes more words are allowed for opinion pieces.  Not sure what press outlets are local to you? Use the Green Amendment online tool to create your letter to the editor and to have it automatically delivered to press outlets local to you.  You can find the online tool here.
